Join in the celebration at Top Innovations, 6655 Troost Ave. on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 4:30-6:30pm. Ribbon Cutting at 4:30, followed by music by the Kansas City Philharmonic Brass Quintet, food and drink, tours and product demonstrations.

In case you haven’t noticed, Georgie Porgie’s has opened at the corner of Gregory Blvd. and Troost Ave. after moving from the 8100 block of Wornall Rd. They open at 6am Mon. through Fri. for breakfast and lunch until 2pm (8am on Sat.
Every day needy Kansas City area families with emergency medical needs are being helped through Kansas City’s Medicine Cabinet, a service of the Baptist-Trinity Lutheran Legacy Foundation (www.btllf.org). The program, piloted in July 2005, has already provided over $100,000 of assistance to 635 families for prescription medicines, durable medical equipment and supplies.
Research Medical Center Brookside Campus, formerly Baptist-Lutheran Medical Center, is hosting a Family Health Festival, September 9, 2006, 10am to 2pm. The Festival will showcase the services offered on the Brookside campus, provide FREE food and outstanding entertainment.
