For the second time in the past three years, Troost Complete Auto Service, 6130 Troost Ave., has been selected as the recipient of the Sparkle Award.
Troost Complete Auto Service has taken an impressive and aggressive approach to rehabbing the property, which began the moment they opened the business just four years ago and which earned them their first “Sparkle” in 2005. This time, owner Shane Crees and his crew have continued improvements, with concrete repairs to the building’s front, miscellaneous painting projects, and most recently resurfacing and striping of the parking lot. Inside, the lobby area has been completely remodeled.
Crees isn’t stopping now. “We plan to build a new façade this fall, and more improvements next year.” This commitment is apparent in the approach Crees and his manager, Lee Dickinson, take to running their shop.
