The Shepherd’s Center delivers weekday meals to over 55 people in the South Plaza, Brookside and Waldo communities. Each driver is responsible for a route of 4-10 people. The driver picks the meals up at Shepherd's Center, 52nd & Oak between 10:30 and 11am and spends approximately an hour delivering the meals to clients.
Volunteers are needed to drive once a week or to substitute for other drivers once or twice a month.
Drivers must be at least 18 years old, have a valid drivers license and have proof of car insurance.
All volunteers are subject to a background check.
