The Southtown Beautification Committee selected Midas Auto Systems Experts, 7648 Troost Ave., as the April Sparkle recipient. Did you know that this business has been at this location for 51 years? It was the first Midas store in Kansas City. The people at Midas on Troost Avenue have certainly worked hard to provide a well-maintained, clean, sparkling operation for many years.
Midas Auto Systems Experts is employee owned with a total of 32 stores, making them the second largest franchise in the United States, according to manager, Chris Andersen. In fact, they are the only 100% employee-owned company in the country. Midas Auto Systems Experts offer a variety of services from all types of maintenance, brakes, steering and suspension, alignments, exhaust, engine repair and replacement, and much more! “We do it all,” says Andersen. The store is open from Monday through Friday from 7:30a-6p and Saturday from 8a-5p with four employees.
Improvements made to the building include new exterior painting and a whole new interior paint scheme, price boards, and signage.
