The Southtown Beautification Committee has selected Hall’s Sales & Service, 1300 E. 63rd St., as the recipient of the November Sparkle Award. Hall’s Sales & Service is family-owned business in operation for 30 years, and a long-time Southtown member. With a combined more than 80 years experience in the auto industry, owners/managers Darren and Pancho Hall Jr. and their staff bring a high level of professional skill to their work – including auto technology teaching experience for the Big 3 automakers.
The improvements were prompted by a fire in February 2008 that nearly destroyed the building. With the current improvements, the fire is a distant memory. The parking lot is newly paved. There are new security cameras inside and out. The waiting area has been relocated and remodeled, including a new ceramic tile floor, and customer amenities like free coffee and cable TV. And in the service area, they’ve installed the latest in diagnostic and alignment equipment.
As Darren Hall said, “The pride we feel in the business is reflected in the remodeling. We want that to tell the customer they can expect the same when it comes to their vehicle.” That type of pride, in both their building and their work, is what makes Hall’s Sales & Service a worthy member of the “Southtown Sparkle’s” community.
