Owners Christian and Andrea Joseph, who also own Season + Square, a local spice shop just down Oak Street, opened Plate in 2015. With an energetic happy hour, family-friendly environment as well as the perfect date location, Plate simply has it all.
 
        
 Long-time Southtown Council member William (Bill) Egelhoff passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was an incredibly loyal member of the Southtown Council, serving for many years on the Executive Board of Directors.  Known for his kindness, dedication and great sense of humor, Bill was voted Southtown Man of the Year in 2010.  Bill will be remembered for his wonderful spirit, giving nature and legacy of service.  Those who served with him recognized Bill as an example of tireless and selfless service.

As a private, liberal arts institution founded by the members of the Society of Jesus, it is the Jesuit tradition of Rockhurst to focus on educating well-rounded leaders committed to serving their communities as “men and women for others.”
