"BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD"

Kansas City Academy Theater Program Presents: "BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD" by award winning playwright, William Mastrosimone.

"BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD" was written in response to a school shooting at Thurston High School in Springfield, Oregon, May 21, 1998. Kip Kinkel first shot and killed both his parents before he went to school and shot 22 students, several of whom died. The play has been performed over 15,000 times across the country and has often been met with controversy, but one fact remains: communities need to have dialogue about violence and bullying.
