Back to School Cut-A-Thon to Benefit Missing Children

House of Heavlin, 5720 Troost Ave., is offering $5 haircuts on Thursday, August 13 to raise donations for the National Center for Missions & Exploited Children (NCMEC). There will be raffles of prizes donated by various organizations and local businesses. Fun games, dancing and our own Director of Admissions “DJ Pink” will be there to keep the students energized though out the day. Local agencies will be on hand to conduct “Identi-Kids” programs, including fingerprints and photo id’s. If you would like to donate a raffle item or get that “back to school haircut or a trim for a good cause,” call 816-229-9000x255 for more information. Mark your calendars for this important and fun event.
