2012 Parade
The Inaugural Annual Southtown Independence Day Celebration Parade is happening on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11am. We will be celebrating patriotism, enjoying the diversity of our community and bridging Troost Avenue as we travel from Metro Plaza (63rd/Woodland) on 63rd Street west to Rockhill Rd, south to Meyer Blvd., and back east to Metro Plaza.
Special entries include our elected officials, bicyclists, police and fire vehicles, local businesses such as Governor Stumpy’s, Ride-Away Credit, The Roasterie, Gunter Exterminators, etc., marching and dance groups, and neighborhood associations.
