63rd Street Facelift

Thanks to the Public Improvement Advisory Council, 4th District City Councilwomen Marcason and Gottstein, and taxpayers, the north side of 63rd St. from Harrison to Oak St. has new sidewalks, curbs, and driveways. More than 5 years ago, Southtown began requesting public improvement funds for this stretch of 63rd St. Because of the limited funds and the large number of projects requested annually, it took time for this request to rise to the top! This fall, new sod will be planted and the project completed. A request was made for next year's cycle to include the same work on the south side of the street. Keep your fingers crossed.
Southtown Council is proud to announce we are a participant in Revenue for You-AT&T National Affiliate Program.
