Every day needy Kansas City area families with emergency medical needs are being helped through Kansas City’s Medicine Cabinet, a service of the Baptist-Trinity Lutheran Legacy Foundation (www.btllf.org). The program, piloted in July 2005, has already provided over $100,000 of assistance to 635 families for prescription medicines, durable medical equipment and supplies.
The 19th Annual Hall of Fame Tournament, scheduled for October 23, 2006 at Oakwood Country Club, is a fun and memorable day of golf with some of Kansas City’s greatest football legends. Players like Len Dawson, Nick Lowery, Bobby Bell and Jan Stenerud have participated in the past helping raise more than 1.5 million dollars.
