The Southtown Council Environment and Public Works Committee selected Newsome Realty Co., LLC, 425 E. 63rd St., for the July Sparkle Award.
In business for 34 years, Newsome Realty moved from 6201 Prospect Ave. to this new location in 2004 after purchasing the building. The building was painted, landscaping added, and some interior tenant finishes were made. In addition to the Real Estate Company, ¾ of the building is leased out and is completely occupied.
Newsome Realty Co. is a full service real estate agency with commercial and residential sales and appraisal services. They employ 17 people. According to owner/operator Travis Newsome, “Newsome Realty is different from other real estate firms because the principals of the company are accessible without a hassle. Newsome Realty has a vested interest in the Southtown community and plans to stay!” They are excited to be in their new location.
